A quick study of rock, just to push myself to experiment something new and away from frustration. Still having hard time drawing my own stuff:(

Forest study thing

Trees are very tricky to paint, they contains so much details and textures. so I've tried my best to capture those by using some random brush strokes, and it turns out great:) Just the color still looks too dark....

Hey guys, this is my vision for the settler's concept, which is a ongoing project with my peers:) Might develop it further with other related elements.

Monster Hunter concept

Here is my concept for the Monster Hunter Challenge. Have no time to finish it, cuz I was busy on moving house and packing stuffs:(

The ideas of the hunter and the monster is trying to create a asia based culture which is the "Terracotta Army" and the "Chinese guardian lions". I think both elements are quite suitable for the concept itself. :)

Hey everyone! I have done few client works during last couple weeks. Those painting will used

as the movie scene.

I was having some good time with my client, a really nice guy:) I also applied some techniques

for this task. As you can tell there's a huge improvement of my work, I guess, haha! :)

I used to not had references when I am drawing, but after joined in daggers group. I realized there have a lot of thing I can learn from real life, so i decided to at learnt draw one study per day.

Painting practise

Recently been involved in some freelance projects. Sometime, painting from photo reference is quite relaxing , it's a easy way to give your brain a rest :) Also it's great for studying of lighting and human proportions.
